Life ain’t nothing but a bad allergy attack sometimes. You sneeze, you cough, your eyes, they run. You take the medicine, but it slows you down. There is always a new better medicine, Change to the new, your symptoms still aren’t done. Life ain’t nothing but a bad allergy attack sometimes. |
| Life ain’t nothing but an old friend sometimes. You haven’t seen them in awhile. You haven’t even thought about them for some time. You see them on the street one day. It is as if they were always on your mind. Life ain’t nothing but an old friend sometimes. |
Life ain’t nothing but an old TV show sometimes. You watched it when you were young. Your forgot it ever existed. You see it on Nick at Night one night. You watch the show, you can resist it. Life ain’t nothing but an old TV show sometimes. |
| Life ain’t nothing but an empty space sometimes. There is nothing there. Up can filled it up and it won’t be bare anymore. It looks so barren, Until you fill it up and it isn’t bare anymore. Life ain’t nothing but an empty space sometimes. |
Life ain’t nothing but a lost soul sometimes. It wonders around living life without a real hope. It thinks it’s altogether, but it is hopelessly lost. It’s only salvation, the way it can cope. But the grace of God, there goes a Holy call. Life ain’t nothing but a lost soul sometimes. |
